Introduction to the old site of Hesheng Yuanbao: The "former site of Hesheng Yuanbao" is located at No. 11 West Street, Jinshang Old Street. In the seventh year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1827), Guo Fengyuan of Rongrenburg and Zhang Tingjiang in the city jointly founded the Heshengyuan Bank. The initial capital was 60,000 taels of silver, and the first manager was Qu Shouchang of Jijiayao in Qi County. During the operation period, 10 branches were set up in Beijing, Shanghai, Hankou and other places, and branches were set up in Kobe, Tokyo and other places in Japan to carry out international business. The old site is a Qing Dynasty building, covering an area of 790 square meters. It faces south and is composed of two courtyards running east and west. There are corridors connecting the courtyards. The layout of the two courtyards is basically the same.
