Introduction to Jian Bozan's Residence: Jian Bozan's Residence is located at No. 56 Jiefang Road, Qianzhou City, Jishou City. In 2008, it was identified as a municipally protected ancient residence and is open to tourists. Jian Bozan (1898-1968), a famous Chinese historian and a member of the Xiangxi Cultural Work Committee of the Communist Party of China, was responsible for mobilizing the people of western Hunan to save the country and fight against Japan. He also served as the executive director of the Hunan branch of the Sino-Soviet Cultural Association. He is also the editor-in-chief of the bimonthly magazine "China-Soviet". In early 1940, Jian Bozan, following the instructions of the Hunan Working Committee of the Communist Party of China, reported to the Eighth Route Army Office in Chongqing and stayed temporarily in Qianzhou on his way to Chongqing.
