Introduction to Xixin Zhizang: The four characters "Xinxin Zhizang" are written by Huang Daozhou in the Ming Dynasty. Huang Daozhou (1585-1646) was a scholar, calligrapher and painter in the late Ming Dynasty, and a hero against the Qing Dynasty. His courtesy name is Youxuan, also known as Youping or Youyuan, also known as Chiruo, Chiping, and Shizhai. He is Han nationality and a native of Tongshan (now Dongshan County), Zhangpu, Fujian. In the middle of the main hall of the Zen temple, Sakyamuni Buddha and two sages Anan and Kasyapa are enshrined.
