Introduction to the Soviet Army Monument: On August 9, 1945, the Soviet Union declared war on Japan. In the 17-day "Battle of Tiger Head", the Soviet Red Army fought fiercely with the Japanese army, and 493 Soviet soldiers were laid to rest here. Later, a monument was built to commemorate it.
