Introduction to Jiyan Temple: Jiyan Temple is located in the open area on the south side of Tortoise Mountain, with cliffs below and overlooking the rolling hills. It was first built in the first year of Zhenghe of the Song Dynasty (1111) and ended in the first year of Chunyou (1241- 1252) Huang Yingdou expanded the land and rebuilt it. In the seventh year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1471), the temple monk Daoli prayed for rain and burned himself with his salary. The temple was burned down, and it was rebuilt again in the eighth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1580). The three characters "Jiyan Temple" on the mountain gate were inscribed by You Jiarui.
