Introduction to Baoxiang Temple: Baoxiang Temple, also known as Shibao Temple, is known as the "Xuankong Temple of Yunnan" because of its dangerous architecture. It was built by Gao Lun, the prefect of Heqing during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a Taoist temple. Later, Buddhism flourished. Except for the Jade Emperor Pavilion, most temples worshiped Buddha statues, making it a place where Buddhism and Taoism merged. The temple is built on the towering and steep cliff of Foding Mountain, which is dazzling. The temple faces west and faces east.
