Introduction to the Martyrs Memorial Tower: The Martyrs Memorial Tower has a circular platform with a diameter of 23 meters, a tower height of 24 meters, and a square pyramid as a whole. The white marble relief on the bluestone altar has fire patterns, cloud patterns and five stars. The front of the base is engraved with cloud patterns and five stars, and the back has a torch and olive branches. The upper part of the tower is engraved with a red five-star on the front, a golden party emblem on the back, and the red five-star on the top reaches straight into the sky. It symbolizes the revolutionary martyrs' baptism of blood and fire, records the noble qualities of the martyrs, and marks the Chinese people's arduous revolutionary struggle and the great victory of the Chinese revolution. Mao Zedong's inscription "The martyrs who sacrificed themselves heroically shall be honored forever" is engraved on the front of the tower, and the other three sides are inscriptions by Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Zhu De. The stone tablets on both sides of the tower are engraved with inscriptions by Peng Dehuai, Chen Yi, Lin Boqu, Dong Biwu, Ren Bishi and Yang Lisan.
