Introduction to the stele pavilion: The inscription of Kaifeng Prefecture is engraved on the stele. The names and dates of office of the 183 governors of Kaifeng in the 148 years since the founding of the Northern Song Dynasty (it can be said to be a roster of Beijing officials). Only Bao Gong’s name has a deep line. The dents are made by people always pointing at his name when viewing the inscriptions, and they are worn out over time. It is the testimony of the love of Bao Gong by the people of the past dynasties.
