Introduction to the ancient Awen stele: The temple still retains an Arabic inscription stele dating from the Jiajing period of the Qing Dynasty, which witnessed the grand occasion of Muslims worshiping God in Zhuxian Town at that time. It is the most complete Awen stele in Henan Province. The inscription on this stele was written by Lao Aheng and his younger brother in the spring of the 52nd year of Qianlong's reign, and was carved in the 10th year of Jiaqing. The content is the thirteen commandments closely related to Muslim life and religion.
