Night market introduction: Liuhe Night Market was formerly known as Dagangpu Night Market. It was originally a food stall gathering on the open space of Dagangpu in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It emerged from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. Since 1987, the Kaohsiung City Government has designated Liuhe Night Market as a pedestrian area from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. every day. Since then, Liuhe Night Market has become an internationally renowned tourist night market.
