Introduction to the Kenting National Forest Recreation Area: The Kenting National Forest Recreation Area was formerly known as "Guiyajiao". After World War II, it was operated by the Hengchun Branch of the Provincial Forestry Experimental Institute and was called the "Kenting Tropical Botanical Garden". In 1968, the "Kenting Forest Recreation Area" was established, later renamed "Kenting National Forest Recreation Area", with an altitude of about 230-300 meters and a total area of 435 hectares.
