Hyena introduction: The hyena is the famous Hai Yi Na in Lu Xun’s Diary of a Madman. The scientific name is Hyaenidae, mammals, which are medium-sized terrestrial carnivorous animals that live in Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, Asia and the Indian subcontinent. The appearance is slightly like a dog, with a shorter and rounder head than a dog's. The fur is brown or tan, with many irregular dark brown spots. It survives by eating the rotting meat of animal carcasses. Although hyenas look like dogs, they are actually closer to cats. Their super strong bite can even crush bones and extract marrow. They are the most ferocious scavengers on the African savannah.
