Introduction to the sacred relics of Confucius: Confucius experienced ups and downs in his life. His father died when he was three years old, and his family declined since then. As he grew older, he worked as a "commissioned official" and "Chengtian" (in charge of animal husbandry). After middle age, he began to gather disciples to give lectures. Around the age of fifty, he served as Sikong and Sikou of the State of Lu. At the age of fifty-four, he began to travel around the country and promote his political ideas everywhere, but he could not be adopted. After traveling around for fourteen years, he returned to the state of Lu and concentrated on education and writing, deleting poems and books, fixing rituals and music, and editing the Spring and Autumn Annals. He died at the age of seventy-three and was buried on the Si River in the north of Lucheng. "Confucius' Sacred Relics Picture" uses chronological order as a detailed description of Confucius's life deeds, and vividly expresses Confucius's life deeds.
