Introduction to King Sejong: King Sejong was the 4th king of the Joseon Dynasty who created Korean writing. This bronze statue, built in 2009 to welcome the "Korean Letters Festival", is 6.2 meters high, 4.3 meters wide and weighs 20 tons. The bronze statue of King Sejong, built on a 4.2-meter-high foundation stone, faces the people and holds "Hunminjeongeum" in his hand.
