Introduction to animal and plant resources: There are 2,425 species of animal and plant resources identified in the protected area. Among them, 4 species are national Class I key protected animals: black langur, leopard, clouded leopard, and forest musk deer. There are 3 species of protected plants: Davidia involucrata, yew, and southern yew; 29 species of national Class II protected animals and plants such as macaques, giant salamanders, mandarin ducks, water green trees, and yellow cedars; 11 species of provincially protected tree species in Guizhou Province; and some are listed There are 21 species of orchids listed in Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and 7 species of birds listed in the China Red Data Book of Endangered Animals.
