Introduction to Kuwait National Museum: Built in 1957, it was severely damaged during Iraq’s invasion and occupation of Kuwait in 1990, and most of the precious exhibits were looted by the Iraqi army. After the Gulf War in 1991, with the intervention of the United Nations, Iraq returned some of Kuwait's looted cultural relics. After renovation, the "Kuwait Folk Heritage" exhibition hall in the National Museum of Kuwait has been reopened to the public. The exhibits in this museum comprehensively introduce the ancient folk customs of Kuwait, as well as the work and living conditions of the Kuwaiti people before the discovery of oil.
