San Pedro Prison Introduction: San Pedro Prison is the largest prison in La Paz. Unlike other prisons, inmates in this prison are not assigned cells; they must "buy a room" on their own. The cells in San Pedro Prison are divided into eight levels, with each level having different levels of comfort. Prisons in the "rich area" have tile floors, cable TV and DVD players. Some cells even have their own balconies.
