Introduction to the Independence Monument: The Independence Monument is a famous monumental building in Pakistan. It was built in 1967 to commemorate the founding father of Pakistan, Jinnah, who held a mass meeting here and read out the Lahore Resolution establishing Pakistan. The tower is 59 meters tall, with a huge five-pointed star as its base and a white upward-facing lotus as its base, which symbolizes purity and development.
