The Star Observation Tower is 24 meters high, with three floors and six corners, surrounded by verandas, looking towards the river in the front and green screen behind. In front of the building is a bronze statue of the ancient astronomer Luo Xiahong, which is simple, dignified and very spectacular. According to records in "Historical Records" and "Book of Han", during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Luo Xiahong, a native of Langzhong, created the famous "Taichu Calendar", improved the "Armillary Sphere", and built a star observatory at Panlong Mountain in Langzhong.
