Introduction to Red Rock Canyon: Red Rock Canyon is located 20 miles west of downtown Las Vegas. It is one of the seven wonders of the world. There are 19 hiking trails, ranging from short to about three-quarters of a mile to long. It can be walked for six or seven miles. Before going, go to the visitor center to get a hiking trail map and choose the trail you want to take. Red Rock Canyon is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Southern Nevada. It was an underwater world 600 million years ago. After several crustal changes, today's red rock wonders were formed. Both sides of the Grand Canyon are lined with huge red rock faults, and the rock formations are rugged and majestic.
