Introduction to the statue of Lei Lutai: Lei Lutai was born in the 35th year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1770) and died in the 29th year of Daoguang’s reign (1849). He was a native of Hongbao Village, Pingyao County, Shanxi Province, and a Chinese financial Industry leader - the founder of Shanxi Bank, who has made great contributions to the development of my country's financial industry. In the early years of Daoguang's reign, Lei Lutai and his boss Li Zhenshi jointly discussed the establishment of the "Rishengchang" bank account, gradually giving up the pigment business and specializing in exchange. Lei Lutai's move took my country's account banking industry, which was only engaged in deposit business, a big step forward and created a "ticket account" specializing in deposit, remittance and lending business.
