Introduction to the Sanyuan Pagoda: It was founded during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was originally named "Wenkui Pagoda", also known as "Qixiu Pagoda". It is said that three snake eggs were found when digging the foundation of the tower. They thought it was a sign of "Three Yuan Ji", so it was renamed "Three Yuan Pagoda".
The ancient pagoda faces east and faces west. It has a pavilion-style brick and wood structure, with angular bricks and linear bricks stacked on top of each other to form eaves. The base of the pagoda is a stone Xumizuo. The whole tower has eight doors and nine levels, with 17 floors in the inner building and a height of 57 meters. It has extraordinary momentum and dominates the south sky. Climbing this tower, leaning on the railing and overlooking the scenic spot of Leizhou, you can have a panoramic view of the new appearance of the ancient city, which makes you open-minded and relaxed.
