Introduction to the statue of Cheng Changgeng: Cheng Changgeng (1811~1880), whose musical name was Cheng Wenxi, was an extraordinary and famous Peking Opera performing artist during the Tongzhi and Guangxu periods of the Qing Dynasty. Hui tune and Kun tune evolved into one of the thirteen founders of Peking Opera. He is very knowledgeable, can play more than 300 plays, and has a high prestige. Together with Zhang Erkui and Yu Sansheng, he is known as the Three Laosheng Heroes and the Laosheng Three Dingjia. Cheng Changgeng ranks first among the "Three Dingjia" and is known as the leader of the Huizhou Troupe and the originator of Peking Opera.
