There is a stone placed horizontally next to the wall in the cave, with the words "Dharma Teaching Cave" and a poem "The Five Patriarchs Ode to Himself" engraved on it. According to legend, this is the place where Patriarch Hongren taught Dharma and lectured, also known as a cave. There are also stalagmites, stone beds and Luo Yin's poem "Late Staying in the Pines".
