Introduction to the ruins: The mysterious tombs of the White Lotus Sect are hidden in the vast sea of bamboo on Dachong Mountain in Anfeng Village. There are 586 of them. These tombs are arranged horizontally and vertically in a standardized manner, with the distance between each one less than 50 centimeters, and most of them are less than 60 centimeters high. According to historical records, the Ye Bailian religious army frequently operated in Liangping County in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. In the first year of Jiaqing (1796), Xu Tiande, the leader of Dazhou Bailian Cult, raised the flag and marched to Liangshan County to set up a stronghold. The following year, Wang Conger, the general leader of the White Lotus Sect, entered northeastern Sichuan. In March 1799 alone, the rebel and Qing armies suffered 40,000 casualties in Liangping. On December 1, 1802, the rebel Hu Sipeng led his troops in a fierce battle in the Jin Tomb Group area, killing hundreds of Qing defenders including Long Tinggui, the commander of the Ebian camp.
