Introduction to Ashoka Pagoda: Standing on the shore of the Great Holy Lake, Ashoka Pagoda was built in the first year of Tiansheng in the Northern Song Dynasty. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. It is the pagoda with the longest history and the tallest tower in northern Jiangsu. The shape of the tower is imitation of an attic, with nine levels and eight sides. There are steps inside that can be climbed up to the top. The structure of this tower is tight and reasonable, the lines are bright and elegant, the style is powerful and simple, and it is very strong. It has experienced 18 earthquakes and still stands here, which is amazing.
