Introduction to Li Dazhao's former residence: Li Dazhao's former residence was built in the seventh year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1881) and was supervised by Li Dazhao's great-grandfather Li Ruzhen. The former residence faces south and is rectangular. It has a high terrace, a large black door, and is divided into three courtyards. It is a typical rural household layout in eastern Hebei. It is 55.5 meters long from north to south and 18.2 meters wide from east to west. It covers an area of ​​1010.1 square meters. Between the main gate and the second gate is the front yard. There are three rooms in the east wing, which used to be the private school where Li Dazhao's uncle Li Renyuan taught. Entering the second gate is the middle courtyard. There are three east wing rooms in the middle courtyard. On October 29, 1889 (October 6th of the lunar calendar), Li Dazhao was born in the northernmost room of the east wing of the central courtyard.
