Tongfutang introduction: The library is the residence of Li Jingxiu's son Li Daoxing. In 1907, the Qing government sent Li Daoxing to study in England. Li married his British wife, Mai, and returned to China in 1914 to build the hospital. There is a row of brick caves with corridors under the spacious platform in the courtyard, and a row of two-story attics on the north side. Books are stored upstairs and people live downstairs, so it is called a library. Due to the influence of Western culture, the shape of the gatehouse in the inner courtyard absorbed the style of Western Gothic architecture. The entire courtyard is a unique combination of Chinese and Western styles.
