Introduction to Deyue Tower: Deyue Tower was built in the second year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1876). The name of the building is taken from the three characters in the ancient couplet "The first to get the moon near the water and the terrace, and the flowers and trees facing the sun early to meet the spring". When it was rebuilt in 1963, Guo Moruo inscribed a plaque with the words "Deyue Tower" on the building.
