Introduction to the Inoue Lotus Terrace: The Inoue Lotus Terrace (Songjing) is located next to the residence of Lin Shouxi in the Qing Dynasty. It is said that the well was dug in the second year of Tiansheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1024) and in the fifth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1510) by Lin Hanzhongjun, Minister of War. The well is made of stone. The well railing is made of a whole piece of granite and is cut into a melon-shaped shape. It is 0.68 meters high and the inner diameter of the well is 0.84 meters. The outer ring is engraved with the words "XX built a well in the second year of Tiansheng, in the middle of the second year of Lao Jiazi, in the second month of winter." "Huang Sheng Liu Huang Tingzhong created the title". After 486 years, Lin Han added another engraving: "In the fifth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty, on the Double Ninth Festival in Japan, Lin Han, the official minister of Japan, completed the construction with the first heavy dredging of the Eighteenth Congress." The original door plaque was inscribed by Lin Xuan as "Lotus Terrace on the Well" (the temple used to be shaped like a lotus terrace). Legend has it that the Emperor of the Song Dynasty stayed here and soldiers of the Song Dynasty once used this well.
