Fort introduction: Linpu Fort is located in Shaoqi Village. It was built during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt during the Majiang naval battle between China and France (1884). The fort sits south to north, facing the Minjiang River, and has a triple earth structure. The fort is open-air and consists of 6 fort piers. Each pier is 2.3 meters high, 3 meters long at the bottom and 1.7 meters wide. One of the piers has collapsed.
