Introduction to Basongcuo: Basongcuo (also known as Cuogao Lake, meaning "Three Rocks and Three Lakes" in Tibetan) is completely surrounded by lush virgin forests, which is very different from other sacred lakes in Tibet. Basongcuo is green, and the lake water is so clear that you can see schools of fish swimming two or three meters below. Surrounded by green mountains, the peak is covered with snow that never melts all year round. The snow-capped mountains beside the lake and the snow-capped mountains reflected on the lake are intertwined with each other and are continuous and spectacular.
