Introduction to Zhaoxing Dong Village: Zhaoxing Dong Village covers an area of 180,000 square meters, with more than 800 households and more than 4,000 residents. It is known as the "No. 1 Dong Village in Liping". The Dong Village is surrounded by mountains. The village is built in a basin in the mountains. A small river runs through the village. The houses in the village are stilted buildings with stilts, arranged in rows and in good order. They are all built of fir wood. The hard tops are covered with small green tiles. They are simple and practical.
Zhaoxing is most famous for its Drum Tower Group, which is unique among Dong villages in the country and is known as the "Hometown of Drum Towers". The five groups in the village have built five drum towers, five flower bridges and five stages, with different appearances, heights, sizes and styles, making it a magnificent sight.
