Introduction to Liujiang Ancient Town: Liujiang Ancient Town is located on both sides of the Liujiang River, a tributary of the Huaxi River, 35 kilometers southwest of Hongya County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. It was historically known as "Mingyue Town" and was founded in the 10th year of Shaoxing (1140) in the Southern Song Dynasty. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, the town was renamed "Liujiangchang" because the people of the Liu and Jiang clans jointly built a long stone street in the town. In 1780, it was named "Liujiangchang". It has been abolished and revived repeatedly in the past dynasties.
