Introduction to St. George's Hall: St. George's Hall (St. George's Hall) is widely considered to be one of the best examples of neoclassical architecture in Europe. The building was built from 1840 to 1855. It performs multiple functions and has an inscription on the door. "S.P.Q.L." (Latin senatus populusque Liverpudliensis), meaning "Senate of Liverpudlians".
