Introduction to Songyintang: Songyintang, the former site of the Front Committee of the Fourth Red Army of the Communist Party of China and the former site of the Political Department of the Fourth Red Army, is located in Bajia Village, Gutian Town, Shanghang County. It is also known as "Yongdong Tower" and was built on the 12th day of the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. In 1807, it was an enclosure-style building, with the layout of the house being one upright and two horizontally.
In December 1929, Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Chen Yi and others led the Fourth Red Army to Gutian and stationed the Front Committee and the Political Department in Songyintang. The bedrooms of Mao Zedong, Chen Yi and others were located on the second floor of the back hall.
