Introduction to the Sword Casting Pool: The Sword Casting Pool, also known as Longquan, is located on the side of the stone steps in the northeast of Fuhu Temple. The "Longchi Reflecting the Moon" in the Eight Scenes of Yefu refers to the Sword Casting Pool. According to legend, Ou Yezi forged swords for the King of Chu in Yefu Mountain and quenched them in Longquan. Later generations renamed it the Sword Casting Pond. The water in the sword pool is gleaming and cold, as cold as a sword floating in the air. The pool is surrounded by stone fences, stone monuments are erected, and a sword pavilion is built. This was built with funds raised during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Today, the pavilion has been abandoned and the stele has been lost, but the stone railings still exist.
