Introduction to the Tarim River: is the largest inland river in China, with a total length of 2,179 kilometers. It meanders from west to east in the northern part of the Tarim Basin. After the river passes through the undulating desert area, it forms a large alluvial plain. Populus euphratica is densely covered with shrubs on both sides of the bank, forming a world-famous green corridor. The Luobu people who settled in the middle reaches of the Tahe River still follow the ancient Loulan culture and living customs, forming this water town that relies on the Tahe River.
