Introduction to the Grand Duke's Palace of Luxembourg: The Grand Duke's Palace of Luxembourg (Place de la Gare) is located on Tume Square north of Notre Dame Church. It was built in 1244 and was originally used as a palace by Luxembourg's successive rulers when they visited. In 1890, Luxembourg had its own Grand Duke Adolf, and it began to officially become the Grand Duke's Palace for the work of the Grand Duke. Part of the palace is also where the Luxembourg Parliament works.
The architectural style of the Grand Ducal Palace was influenced by the Italian Renaissance, and the interior decoration is very elegant and exquisite, especially the main hall, the king's room and the banquet hall.
