Introduction to the Temple of Karnak: is the most complete and largest temple. The building was built more than 4,000 years ago and was completed by Ramses II and Ramses III of the New Dynasty. After successive renovations and expansions, it covers an area of 33 hectares. The entire building complex includes more than 20 temples, large and small. There is a tower gate 44 meters high and 131 meters wide in the courtyard. The Karnak Temple has three parts: the Temple of Amun dedicated to the sun god Amun, the temple dedicated to Amun's wife Mut, the goddess of war, and the Temple of Menxiu.
