Introduction to the War Museum: The Manchester Imperial War Museum North (IWM North) was designed by Daniel and is composed of three independent buildings, representing the three main sites of the war - sea, land and air. The museum takes a completely different tack to attract visitors, telling people through exhibits that war is hell, but sadly humans visit hell regularly. The exhibition space is also stunning.
