Introduction to stone carvings: The "ancient" culture of Yushui Ancient Hot Spring Resort has a long history, and there are several ancient stone carvings distributed in the resort. The earliest one is from the 14th year of Jiajing reign in the Ming Dynasty (1535), when Dong Tingyu, commanded by the Shendian Guard (Dianbai County), left a stone inscription "Yu Yi Stone" after bathing. The stone carving of "The road is convenient for the people" was written by Guo Qiaodeng, a scholar from Gaozhou, during his autumn outing in the 38th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1610). In the 32nd year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1693), Huo Weiding, the number one scholar in Yanjing and the commander-in-chief of the army, once experienced the environment here and wrote the inscription "Landscapes are pleasant", which can fully represent the natural environment of green mountains and beautiful waters. The most representative ones are the two-meter-high word "hot spring" carved in commemoration of Wang Lin's bathing here in Peiping and the stone tablet "hot spring record" left during the Qianlong period, which stands intact in the resort. All are authentic works from that time.
