Introduction to Baihou: Baihou is divided into two parts, north and south, commonly known as Hounan and Houbei. In 2010, it was jointly awarded the fifth batch of "China's Historical and Cultural Towns" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. It is the only town in Meizhou to receive this title.
