Introduction to the statue: Huang Zunxian, courtesy name Gongdu (1848-1905), also known as the Master of Renjinglu, was a native of Jiaying Prefecture, Guangdong (now Meizhou City) in the Qing Dynasty. An outstanding diplomat, enlightenment thinker, reformer and famous patriotic poet in modern China. He successively served as counselor of the Qing court in Japan and the United Kingdom, consul general in the United States and Singapore, Changbaoyan Dharma Road in Hunan, and acting envoy.
