Introduction to Furong Ancient Town: Furong Town was originally named Wangcun Town. It was renamed Furong Town after Xie Jin’s "Furong Town" became famous. Furong Town was the seat of Youyang County as early as when Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty established Wuling County. It is an ancient town with a history of 2,000 years. The Xizhou copper pillar in the town's scenery museum weighs 5,000 kilograms and is hollow on eight sides. The two ends are sealed with copper tops and the middle is filled with copper coins. It is among the first batch of national key protected cultural relics.
