Introduction to trees in Meng Temple: The ancient trees in Meng Temple are a great wonder in Meng Temple. There are more than 430 trees of various kinds in the temple, most of which are ancient pines, junipers and oriental cypresses, and are also dotted with ginkgo, ancient locust trees, wisteria, etc. Among them are the juniper trees planted when the temple was built during the Xuanhe reign of Song Dynasty, which has a history of nearly 900 years.
