Introduction to Milan Central Railway Station: Milan Central Railway Station (Italian: Stazione di Milano Centrale) is the most important railway station in Milan, Italy, the second largest railway station in Italy, and one of the most important railway stations in Europe. Milan Central Railway Station is located in Piazza Ducale Aosta in Milan. It was built in 1864 and designed by Ulisse Stacchini. It was completed and put into use in 1931. Milan Central Station has 24 platforms, with approximately 320,000 passengers and 500 trains arriving and departing every day, and is used by approximately 120 million passengers every year.
