Introduction to the Qing Army Cemetery in Hutou Mountain: The Qing Army Cemetery in Hutou Mountain is located at the eastern foot of Hutou Mountain and is an important witness to the relationship between Fujian and Taiwan. In 1874, the Japanese army sent 3,500 troops and 11 ships to invade Taiwan. The soldiers of the Min'an left and right battalions followed the Shipping Minister Shen Baozhen to Taiwan to drive away the Japanese. The remains of 135 people who sacrificed their lives for the country were brought back and buried here. The cemetery faces northeast, with a width of 13 meters and a depth of 11.5 meters. There are also three Dayi Tombs at Guishan Pass in the deep pit of the ancient town. The monuments record the 24th year of Jiaqing (1819), the 13th year of Daoguang (1833), and the Wuyin year of Guangxu (1878). The inscription on the stele is engraved with the following words: "Yi Mound, Left and Right Camps Renovated" and other words. These are the remains of the Qing soldiers who sacrificed their lives in guarding Tai Pengbao Island and were transported back to their hometown in Min'an in clay pots for burial.
