Introduction to Jinxian Temple: Jinxian Temple was first built in the Liang Datong period of the Southern Dynasty (535-546), and was originally named Jingjin Temple. During the Qianyuan period of Emperor Suzong of the Tang Dynasty (758-760), Zen Master Fulin Zhidu stayed here to expand the temple and renamed it "Fulin Nunnery". In the second year of Emperor Yingzong's reign (1065) in the Northern Song Dynasty, because Fulin Nunnery and Wanxian Weng Temple were located in front of each other, the emperor gave the nunnery the title of "Jinxian Temple".
