Introduction to Yuxian Stone: On the cliffs in the eastern part of the scenic spot and in the Yuxian Stone area, there are "Ancient Buddha Dojo", "Xianmen", "Yuxian Stone", "Chess", "Peach Plate Stone" and "Xianmuprint" There are 13 cliff stone carvings including "Wang Zhi Yu Xian Ji", "Xian Zuo" and "Yunfeng Mountain Da'an Temple", which are the oldest and largest group of cliff carvings in Beijing.
Legend has it that a young man named Wang Zhi went up the mountain to chop firewood. When he walked to Nantianmen, he saw two immortals playing chess, so he stood by the "chessboard stone" to watch the game and ate one of the immortals. When he returned home, he found that the small village had become a big village, and his grandsons were all 100 years old. From then on, the village at the foot of Yunfeng Mountain was called Bulaotun. This is the origin of the place name Bulaotun.
